Elephant Pillow

This Elephant mosaic crochet pillow pattern from my Animals and Their Young collection is perfect for all elephant lovers! The pattern features a baby elephant made in the mosaic overlay crochet style.

This mosaic crochet pattern is an advanced skill level and is recommended for crocheters with experience in mosaic overlay crochet.  The detailed instructions, photos, and video tutorials will guide you through each step of the project. With a little bit of patience and practice, you'll be a pro in no time!

If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key. 

The Elephant pillow can be a stand-alone project or paired with any of my 3 elephant blanket designs!

This calculation was based on Stylecraft Special DK yarn and hook size of 3.75mm.  Gauge:  5 stitched and 5 rows=1 inch

Color B- 432 yds (Background Color)
Color C (Black) – small amount for the eyes and mouth
Edging/Border – 150 yds
