**Level 3-Advanced** (angle stitches and tapestry color change)
Looking for a unique and challenging crochet project? This Elephant mosaic overlay crochet blanket pattern creates a beautiful, one-of-a-kind blanket that is perfect for baby, kids or any elephant lover.

This mosaic crochet pattern is an advanced skill level and is recommended for crocheters with experience in mosaic overlay crochet.  Detailed instructions, photos, and video tutorials will guide you through each step of the project. With a little bit of patience and practice, you'll be a pro in no time!

If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key.

Looking for an easier skill level? I have two more versions of this design!

Level 2-Advanced (angle stitches, 2 colors only)

Level 1-Easy (basic SCBLO and DCFLO stitches only)

Written for Mosaic Overlay Crochet, this pattern includes:

- Charts
- Written Pattern
- Detailed Instructions packet
- Stitch Key
- Photo tutorials
- Video tutorials for each type of stitch used in the patterns

This calculation was based on weight 3 DK yarn and hook size of 3.75mm.  Gauge:  5 stitched and 5 rows=1 inch

Yarn:

2” Double Border – 572 yds

This pattern is divided into 6 sections for both the charts and written pattern so they can be used together and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I have also included a full chart on one page for those who wish to use Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.
