Elephant Blanket 1

**Level 1-Easy** (basic SCBLO and DCFLO stitches only)
Looking for an elephant crochet blanket pattern that is simple and stylish? Look no further than this mosaic overlay crochet blanket pattern! This pattern features the basic SCBLO and DCFLO mosaic crochet stitches, which is perfect for beginners. Written for Mosaic Overlay Crochet, this pattern includes:

Size:  35”x 42”
*Size will vary depending on yarn weight and hook.  
This calculation was based on Stylecraft Special DK yarn and hook size of 3.75mm.  Gauge:  5 stitched and 5 rows=1 inch

Yarn:        
Color A- 1277 yds    (Design Color)
Color B- 1004 yds (Background Color)
2” Double Border – 594 yds

This pattern is divided into 5 sections and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern correlates with the chart sections so they can be used together. I have also included a full chart on one page for those who wish to use Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.
