Sail Away Blanket

**Level 1-Easy** (SCBLO and DCFLO stitches only)
Crocheters and sailboat enthusiasts-Sail Away with this mosaic crochet pattern! 

This design is easy to customize with different sky colors to create the perfect sailboat at sunset. You can color plan your sunset using the full chart and changing your Color B yarn at certain points in the pattern.  You will not use tapestry color carrying.  Each row uses only one color.

This pattern includes the words "sail away with me" as part of the design.

Size: 32”x 36”
*Size will vary depending on yarn weight and hook.  
This calculation was based on weight 3 DK yarn and hook size of 3.75mm.  Gauge:  5 stitched and 5 rows=1 inch

Yarn:
Color A (sailboat/lettering)– 724 yds
Color B (water/sky) – 1218 yds (total amount - you will be able to color plan with the full chart)
Border –523 yds

This pattern is divided into 5 sections (5 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I have also included a full chart on one page for those who wish Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.
