Pit Bull Blanket

This mosaic crochet pattern is an advanced skill level and is recommended for crocheters with experience in mosaic overlay crochet.  The detailed instructions, photos, and video tutorials will guide you through each step of the project. If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key. 

There is space in this design to personalize your project with a name.  I have several alphabet fonts that fit the space nicely (sold separately).

Written for Mosaic Overlay Crochet, this pattern includes:

Size:  32”x 42”
*Size will vary depending on yarn weight and hook.  
This calculation was based on Stylecraft Special DK yarn and hook size of 3.75mm.  Gauge:  5 stitched and 5 rows=1 inch

Yarn: It is important the Color A is the dark color due to the use of shadow in this design.        
Color A- 890 yds    (Dark, Design Color)
Color B- 1419 yds (light, Background Color)
2” Double Border – 571 yds

This pattern is divided into 5 sections and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I have also included a full chart on one page for those who wish to use Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.
