**Level 3-Advanced** (angle stitches and tapestry color changes)
Looking for the perfect mosaic crochet blanket pattern for the giraffe lover in your life?  My Animals and Their Young collection now has a delightful giraffe mom and baby!

This mosaic crochet pattern is an advanced skill level and is recommended for crocheters with experience in mosaic overlay crochet.  The detailed instructions, photos, and video tutorials will guide you through each step of the project. With a little bit of patience and practice, you'll be a pro in no time!

If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key.

I also have a version of this design without tapestry color changes.
Level 2-Advanced (angle stitches)

Written for Mosaic Overlay Crochet, this pattern includes:
•    Charts
•    Written Pattern
•    Detailed Instructions packet
•    Stitch Key
•    Photo tutorials
•    Video tutorials for each type of stitch used in the pattern

Size:  33”x 45”
*Size will vary depending on yarn weight and hook.
This calculation was based on Stylecraft Special DK yarn and hook size of 3.75mm.  Gauge:  5 stitched and 5 rows=1 inch

Yarn:
Color A- 1084 yds (Giraffe Color)
Color B- 1381 yds (Background Color)
Color C-804 yds (Leaves)
2” Double Border – 600 yds

This pattern is divided into 7 sections (6 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. The charts and written pattern are divided into identical sections so they can be used together.  Customers who are new to angle stitches have reported that using the charts and written pattern together have answered questions they have about stitch placement.  I would also suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I have also included a full chart on one page for those who wish to use Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.

Check out all the designs in my Animals and Their Young Collection!

The instructions packet should answer any questions you may have. I also have a Facebook group dedicated to answering questions and building community around my patterns. Please join us! Sign up for my newsletter for exclusive offers and never miss a sale! https://linktr.ee/heathernobledesigns
