**Level 2-Advanced** (angle stitches)
Equestrian Jumper mosaic overlay crochet blanket pattern is the perfect gift for the horse lover in your life!
This mosaic crochet pattern is an advanced skill level and is recommended for crocheters with experience in mosaic overlay crochet. Detailed instructions, photos, and video tutorials will guide you through each step of the project. With a little bit of patience and practice, you'll be a pro in no time!
If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key.
There is space in the design to personalize your blanket with a name. I have several alphabet fonts available that fit this space nicely (sold separately).
Written for Mosaic Overlay Crochet, this pattern includes:
• Charts
• Written Pattern
• Detailed Instructions packet
• Stitch Key
• Photo tutorials
• Video tutorials for each type of stitch used in the pattern
Size: 54”x 58”
(215 stitches x 231 rows)
*Size will vary depending on yarn weight and hook.
This calculation is based on weight 4 worsted yarn and hook size of 4mm. Gauge: 4 stitches and 4 rows=1 inch
Yarn: *Note: it is important that Color A is your dark color due to the use of shadow in this design. This pattern is written for 2 colors only. One of my pattern testers used more colors with the tapestry color change method. You will have to color plan on your own using the charts if you wish to use more than 2 colors.
Color A (Design/Dark color) – 2001 yds
Color B (Background/ light color) – 1369 yds
2” Double Border – 694 yds

This pattern is divided into 6 sections (5 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I also have the full chart on one page available to use with the Knit Companion app.
Special thanks to Anita Schadeck and Laurie Gauthier Fulwood for testing this pattern!
The instructions packet and video tutorials should answer any questions you may have. I also have a Facebook group dedicated to answering questions and building community around my patterns. Please join us! Sign up for my newsletter for exclusive offers and never miss a sale!
