SKILL LEVEL
✨ Level 1–Easy (basic SCBLO and DCFLO mosaic overlay stitches only)
Beginner-friendly mosaic crochet project. Knowledge of basic crochet stitches recommended (chain, single crochet, double crochet).

FINISHED SIZE: 16”x 12”
(65 stitches x 46 rows)
For this design, I used weight 4 yarn (worsted/aran) and a hook size of 4mm.  Gauge:  4 stitches and 4 rows=1 inch

YARN: 
Color A (design/tree)– 96 yds
Color B (background/outline) – 76 yds

ABOUT MOSAIC CROCHET
Mosaic crochet uses one color per row to create graphic imagery — no yarn is carried along the back of the work.

This pattern is divided into 2 sections (2 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I have also included a full chart on one page for those who wish to use Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.
